Step 1: Review Eligibility, Guidelines & Deadlines

Step 2: Get Started in our online grants management system, Foundant

New to the Foundation for MetroWest? Create an account.

Check out this video tutorial for help.

Note that multiple users can be associated with an organization.

If you need to create a profile for your organization, be sure to enter the full legal name associated with your EIN (e.g., Foundation for MetroWest Inc. versus FFMW).

Save your login email and password in a safe location.

Applied to the Foundation for MetroWest in the past? Log into your existing account.

To reset your password, follow the directions on the login page.

Some email communications from Foundation for MetroWest will come from the address; please be sure to add this to your email address book to ensure they do not go to spam.

Our online system works with all major internet browsers, though we recommend using Chrome or Firefox.

Step 3: Apply

Submit your application by the stated deadline. Late applications will not be accepted.

Step 4: Review by Foundation for MetroWest

Foundation for MetroWest’s distribution committee – comprised of Foundation program officers and 20 community members – will review your grant application.

Foundation staff may contact you to arrange a site visit for more information. Note that not every organization will be asked to host one, and is not an indication one way or the other as to our funding decisions.

Step 5: Grant Decisions

You will be notified by email if your organization will receive full or partial funding, or be denied. Please refer to specific guidelines, calendars, and timelines provided in About Grants.
