What is Impact MetroWest?
We know the vibrancy and strength of the MetroWest region are important to you. As the community foundation serving 33 cities and towns that make up the MetroWest region, it’s important to us too.
Impact MetroWest is an initiative that uses available data and community voice to assess strengths and challenges within our communities to build awareness and drive change. To complete the project, we are working with the Center for Government Research (CGR), a leading provider of community data and analysis for foundations and nonprofits. And we need you.
Through our role as a philanthropic resource, a partner, and a vehicle for giving, and as a grantmaker and service provider in the region, Impact MetroWest will allow us to accomplish the following:
- Become more informed and knowledgeable regarding the needs and strengths of our communities to inform our grantmaking and community efforts
- Provide a resource and tool to inform and strengthen our nonprofit and municipalities
- Allow us to more effectively share the needs and highlight the strengths in MetroWest, and inform all residents
- Empower anyone living or working in MetroWest to get involved and give right here in their own backyard
Community data will be available publicly through a dedicated, interactive website, and will house municipal and/or county-level data coupled with important analysis, interpretation, and trends. The voice of the community will be woven into this project through key stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and a community-wide survey, which will result in a comprehensive and complimentary report.
