Strengthening &
Connecting MetroWest

We are a resource, convener, and catalyst. More than just a grantmaker, we help strengthen the capacity of local organizations to better meet changing environments.

Networking and learning are great ways to create connections, improve professional skills, and build a better community. The Foundation for MetroWest offers a number of programs through our Center for Philanthropy Education that allow organizations and community members to come together and develop the skills and connections they need to succeed and make our communities stronger.

These include:

  • MetroWest Board Chair Networking - Board Chair networking opportunities allow MetroWest nonprofit board leaders to exchange ideas and share best practices.
  • Nonprofit Educational Programs - A series of workshops that provide nonprofit staff and board members the chance to access high-quality professional development training for free.
  • The Leadership Connection - This program recruits, trains, and places top executive talent in MetroWest nonprofit organizations.
  • Opportunities to Convene and Collaborate - We offer many organizations the chance to convene and share ideas and challenges, as well as to identify opportunities for collaboration.

For more information about classes and seminars, visit the Center for Philanthropy Education web page and contact John Haak, Program Officer, to find out how you can be involved.
