Foundation for MetroWest Elects New Members to Board of Trustees

Foundation for MetroWest announced today that it has elected four new members to its Board of Trustees. Jim Hanrahan, John Heerwagen, Andrea Sussman, and Robert Vigoda were voted onto the Board at a recent Foundation for MetroWest board meeting. The new slate of trustees joins ten additional members currently serving on the Board.

“The Foundation for MetroWest is extremely grateful to have these distinguished community leaders join our board of trustees,” said Foundation for MetroWest executive director Judith Salerno. “Each new member brings a commitment to community that pairs well with our existing board and will serve to strengthen the Foundation’s impact on the MetroWest region.”

Jim Hanrahan
Jim is the Managing Partner at Bowditch & Dewey specializing in commercial real estate. He has sat on the Boards of the South Middlesex Opportunity Council, South Middlesex Non-Profit Housing Corporation, and the MetroWest YMCA. Jim currently resides in Framingham, MA.

John R. Heerwagen
John is the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer for Middlesex Savings Bank. John currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Housing Partnership, on the 495/MetroWest Corridor Partnership Board of Directors, and the Government Relations Council of the American Bankers Association. He has previously served on a number of other boards and committees including the Sudbury Housing Authority and the Natick Strategic Planning Oversight Committee. John currently resides in Sudbury, MA.

Andrea Sussman
Prior to her retirement, Andrea was a partner with the law firm of NixonPeabody LLP specializing in real estate syndication law. Andrea is a past President of Belmont Day School’s Board of Trustees. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Auxiliary of Hebrew Senior Life. Andrea currently resides in Sudbury, MA. Andrea has served as a member of the Foundation’s Grant Distribution Committee since 2010.

Robert A. Vigoda
Robert Vigoda is a partner in Rubin and Rudman’s Trust Department. Rob has practiced estate planning, estate administration and business succession law for over 30 years. Rob has been selected one of Worth Magazine’s Top 100 Attorneys in the country for three consecutive years. Robert currently resides in Lexington, MA. Rob has served as a member of the Foundation’s Grant Distribution Committee since 2010.
