Join us for the first Insight Tour of 2012

Develop a deeper understanding of the dedicated nonprofits that serve our region by joining a MetroWest Insight Tour. At each stop participants hear directly from directors, employees, volunteers, and service recipients about the needs in the community, the challenges they face, the programs that provide assistance, and the impact of their services.

Our first 2012 Insight Tour features 4 family support organizations located in Waltham, and includes lunch at the Elephant Walk Restaurant. Consider joining us on:

Thursday, March 1, 2012
9:30 am to 1:00 pm

Traveling by mini coach we will visit:
Communities United, which provides high quality education and family services to a diverse population of children, ages 0 to 5 years.
Waltham Family School, which is a new Even Start Family Literacy Program in Waltham.
Waltham Fields Community Farm, which supports farmland preservation, hunger relief and education.
Waltham Partnership for Youth, which identifies the needs of Waltham youth, and leverages resources to get those needs met.

We will return to the Elephant Walk Restaurant for lunch at 12:00 noon.
